Epic-Certified Behavioral Health Analyst

About the role

Support Project Mosaic, focusing on comprehensive Behavioral Health (BHRS) application build and implementation.

Tasks

• Develop and configure Epic clinical documentation, including Navigators, SmartForms, Flowsheets, Note Templates, and SmartTexts.
• Support behavioral health workflows across outpatient, crisis, residential, inpatient, and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) programs.
• Build assessments, treatment plans, orders, referral preference lists, and consent workflows.
• Write and execute test scripts, identify defects, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Support end-user training, go-live activities, and command center operations.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, leadership, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.

Requirements

• Current Epic certifications in ClinDoc and Ambulatory.
• 5+ years of experience as an Epic Application Analyst.
• At least 2 years of hands-on Behavioral Health build experience.
• Minimum 2 completed Epic implementations and go-lives.
• Strong experience with Epic clinical documentation and behavioral health workflows.
• Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2 and California Medi-Cal behavioral health documentation and billing.
• Ability to work independently and provide post-go-live support.
• Preferred: Epic Behavioral Health accreditation.
• Preferred: Experience across multiple behavioral health settings.
• Preferred: County or public behavioral health experience.
