Experienced Translator – Raleigh, NC

Google LLC is seeking an Experienced Translator for a part-time, remote-eligible position based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Earn $50 per hour while helping bridge language gaps and improve communication for diverse audiences. You will work collaboratively with project managers, clients, and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate technical and non-technical documents accurately while preserving clarity, context, and intended meaning.
• Research industry-specific terminology to produce precise translations.
• Coordinate with project managers and teammates to confirm project requirements and deliverables.
• Revise and proofread translated content to ensure quality.
• Maintain terminology databases and translation resources for consistency.
• Share feedback on project timelines and client expectations.
• Use translation software and tools to support an efficient workflow.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in both source and target languages.
• Strong technical knowledge relevant to industry-specific translation work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Two to three years of experience in a translation environment or role is preferred.
• Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
• No formal education is required; relevant experience will be considered.

Work Environment
