Facilities Cost Analyst

Tasks

• Monitor, manage, and track budgets, funds, and expenditures for facilities construction projects.
• Analyze historical and operational financial data related to construction and modernization projects.
• Support construction budgeting, procurement, receivables, invoice payments, and job cost management.
• Prepare financial reports, budget forecasts, and documentation for audits and financial inquiries.
• Monitor grant funding and ensure compliance with state, federal, and local financial requirements.
• Develop, supervise, and recommend procedures for obtaining and processing high volumes of cost and operations data from the Facilities Services Division using current database and fiscal system applications.
• Analyze historical and operational financial and fiscal data related to Facilities Services Division construction project budgets and expenditures.
• Oversee and support construction related budgeting, receivables, procurement, payments, and job costs.

Requirements

• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, public or business administration, or economics. It is preferable that degrees in non-accounting-related majors be supplemented by college-level courses in accounting.
• Three years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, cost accounting or auditing, including analysis of income and expenditure statements, budgets, or cash flow.

Pay

• Salary: $52.60 – $64.80 / Hourly
