Farm Route Driver Manager

NOW HIRING: FARM ROUTE DRIVER MANAGER
Are you looking for a way to be involved in the ag industry while earning a great income and being a part of a strong team? This rare opportunity in our farm route department with involve working with farm route drivers, dairy co-ops, and dairy farms, along with our top-notch team to manage farm pickup loads, equipment, and driver schedules.
DUTIES:
- Manage driver schedules
- Coordinate with drivers and maintenance department to resolve equipment related issues
- Primary scheduler for farm route loads
- Assist in recruiting and training new farm route drivers
- Will be on-call - must be available to answer occasional calls after hours
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to quickly solve problems and make decisions
- Basic knowledge of logistics and route optimization
- Willingness to learn and use Microsoft Excel, Google Maps, and other web-based programs
- Applicants with current CDL (or willingness to get a Class A CDL) will be preferred (to assist in shuttling equipment or loads when needed)
- We are willing to train the right candidate, but a general understanding of dairy farming will be very helpful
- Individual will work out of Caledonia, MN office
