Job description
Ragul is seeking a creative Fashion Designer for a full-time, on-site position in Chandigarh, Tripura, India. Join a collaborative design team and help shape original fashion collections from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design original clothing, accessories, or footwear informed by current trends and customer preferences.
- Research fashion markets and competitors to identify relevant trends.
- Create sketches, color boards, and sample designs for review by the team and stakeholders.
- Manage designs from initial concept through production.
- Work with fabric suppliers, manufacturers, and other designers to assess quality and production feasibility.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, and production teams to align design work with business goals.
- Review samples and refine designs based on team and customer feedback.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop or comparable design software.
- Strong creative thinking and innovative design skills.
- Effective communication and time management skills.
- Two to three years of fashion design or related industry experience preferred.
