J AND A MOKHEMB FINANCIAL SERVICES (PTY)LTD is hiring a full-time Financial Advisor in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. In this client-focused role, you will help individuals assess their financial needs, develop plans, and make informed decisions about financial products and services.

Pay: 180000 per year

Key Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ financial situations and create tailored financial plans and investment strategies.
• Explain financial products and services so clients can make informed decisions.
• Identify and develop new client relationships through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
• Maintain client relationships through regular communication and responsive customer service.
• Develop plans aligned with clients’ goals and risk tolerance.
• Monitor client progress and update plans as needs or circumstances change.
• Track financial market trends and share relevant insights with clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant sales training.
• Strong sales, communication, customer service, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in sales or a customer-facing role.
• Proficiency with relevant financial planning and analysis software and tools.
• Financial services industry experience is preferred but not required.

Team and Reporting

Financial Advisors report to the Senior Management Team and collaborate with colleagues across departments. The company offers a supportive, professional environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
