About the role

Confidential is seeking flaggers and traffic control workers. Current flagger or work zone traffic control training certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Use a STOP/SLOW paddle and proper hand-signaling procedures.
  • Understand and follow basic work-zone and traffic-control safety.
  • Stay alert and react quickly to changing traffic conditions.
  • Wear required high-visibility PPE.

Requirements

  • Current flagger or work zone traffic control training certification. Accepted training may include ATSSA Flagger Training, TEEX – Flaggers in Work Zones, UTA – Qualified Flagger Training, NSC – Workzone Flagger Training, or other qualifying TxDOT-approved or recognized training.
  • Previous construction or roadway flagging experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand outdoors for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Dependable and safety-minded.
