About the role
The Taylored Cookie Bakery is looking to add someone to its front counter team. This is a part-time position, approximately 2–3 days per week, most likely Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, from 7:00 AM–2:00 PM. The 7:00 AM start time is non-negotiable; you must be at the bakery and ready to work at 7:00 AM on every scheduled day.
Responsibilities
- Run the POS system and handle transactions accurately.
- Take and package customer orders.
- Answer the phone.
- Keep the front stocked, clean and organized.
- Multitask during busy periods.
- Be on your feet for most of your shift.
- Show up reliably and on time, and work well with the rest of the team.
- Be kind, patient and welcoming to customers.
Requirements
- Reliability, work ethic and customer service are extremely important.
- Experience is helpful, but the POS system and the bakery's procedures can be taught.
