Job description
IPS TECH inc is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for Eagle Investments in Boston, Massachusetts. Join a collaborative financial services team focused on innovation and excellence. In this on-site contract role, you will help ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of software solutions that support clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Test software applications against business requirements and technical specifications.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and automated tests to validate functionality and performance.
- Partner with software developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle.
- Analyze test results, document defects, and report findings throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Lead QA activities across projects and promote continuous improvement and testing best practices.
- Contribute to release planning and risk assessments, helping teams set quality expectations and timelines.
- Mentor junior QA team members and foster a culture of quality.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- More than five years of software quality assurance experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
