About the role
LJ Staffing Company is seeking an experienced, warm, and energetic full-time nanny for a family's 15-month-old child in Downtown Manhattan. The position is live-out and long-term, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–6:30 PM, for 50 hours per week. The nanny will work collaboratively with the parents and household and travel with the family as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and loving care for a 15-month-old.
- Plan age-appropriate developmental activities, classes, playdates, and outings.
- Encourage language, motor, social, and developmental milestones through play.
- Prepare healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks for the child.
- Maintain the child's daily routine, including meals and naps.
- Handle child-related laundry, tidying, and organization.
- Keep nursery and play areas clean and organized.
Requirements
- Strong professional nanny experience, particularly with infants and toddlers.
- A warm, happy, positive, and energetic demeanor, and a love of working with toddlers.
- Knowledge of toddler development and age-appropriate activities.
- Reliability, flexibility, and professionalism.
- Comfort preparing children's meals and strong communication skills.
- A valid passport and willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Excellent professional references.
