What is recruitment?
Think of it as a sales role where you’re building your own network and, eventually, your own book of business.You’ll be speaking to candidates and businesses every day, building relationships, developing new business, negotiating, closing deals and working towards clear targets.The better you perform, the more you can earn and the quicker you can progress.
What will you actually be doing?You’ll learn how to:Build relationships with candidates and clients across specialist technology marketsPick up the phone and confidently speak to new peopleSource and engage high-quality candidatesDevelop new business and build your own client relationshipsUnderstand what businesses are looking for when they hireNegotiate and close dealsManage the recruitment process from first conversation through to placementWork towards clear weekly and monthly sales targetsBuild your own specialist market and become an expert in it
