About the role
JR Performance Horses is hiring for a groom and general barn help position. The work is physically demanding and hard, dirty work. Total hours and start time can be flexible.
Responsibilities
- Groom, saddle and lunge horses.
- Some stall cleaning may be included, but not regularly.
- Check and clean waterers, remove cobwebs, move hay and grain, and handle other housekeeping chores to keep things looking nice.
- This is not a riding assistant position; riding is not part of the job.
Requirements
- Horse experience is required; novices are not considered.
- A driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.
- Reliable daily attendance is required. Repeated personal drama involving relationships, hookups or family is a reason not to contact the employer.
