Job description
Tasks
- Conduct research and contribute to the development of a policy-focused Capstone Project
- Develop knowledge of disability policy, programs, services, and laws
- Monitor and track legislation through the Texas Legislature Online system
- Research, analyze, and synthesize information into reports and presentations
- Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to conduct research, analyze information, and prepare reports
- Interest in disability programs, services, laws, and public policy
- Previous office or administrative experience preferred
