Inayat Pathan is hiring a full-time Junior Application Engineer in Lincolnshire, England, United Kingdom. This is an on-site opportunity with a global manufacturer and supplier of electrical equipment and products expanding its presence in North America under its own brand.

About the Role

As a Junior Application Engineer, you will provide technical support for industrial automation and electrical products. You will help customers and colleagues identify suitable products, troubleshoot inquiries, improve product documentation, and build your knowledge of new applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and act as a primary technical resource for product inquiries.
• Assist with product selection, cross-referencing, and related application questions.
• Review factory documentation and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Develop knowledge base articles, including start-up procedures for new products.
• Build product knowledge through self-study and hands-on testing of demo units, including VFDs, HMIs, and other electrical products.
• Assist with warranty case evaluations and repairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• One to two years of electrical-related experience or experience with industrial automation products.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, servos, control networks, motion control, contactors, circuit breakers, and motor management systems is a plus.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Customer service skills and confidence communicating by phone.
• Professional, patient, positive, and confident communication style.
• Strong organizational skills, including document, demo, workspace, and time management.
