Junior Application Engineer in Lincolnshire, England

Company Overview
The Company is a global manufacturer and supplier of electrical equipment and products, aiming to expand its presence in the North American market under its own brand name.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Serve as a primary technical resource for all product inquiries.
• Assist with product selection, cross-referencing, and technical guidance.
• Provide feedback on factory documentation to support continuous improvement.
• Develop knowledge base articles detailing start-up procedures for new products.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new products and applications through self-study and hands-on testing of demo units, including VFD, HMI, and electrical products.
• Assist in evaluating and repairing warranty cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of electrical or industrial automation experience.
• Experience with PLC, VFD, HMI, Servo, Control Networks, Motion Control, and industrial automation components such as contactors, circuit breakers, MMS is a plus.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and phone communication skills.
• Professional, patient, positive, and confident communication style.
• Strong organizational skills for managing documents, demos, workspace, and time.
