Junior Application Engineer in Lincolnshire, England, UK

Company Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Serve as a primary technical resource for all product inquiries.
• Assist with product selection, cross referencing, and technical guidance.
• Offer feedback on factory documentation to support continuous improvement.
• Develop knowledge base articles detailing start-up procedures for new products.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new products and applications through self-study and hands-on testing of demo units, including VFD, HMI, and electrical products.
• Assist in evaluating and repairing warranty cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of electrical or industrial automation product experience.
• Experience with PLC, VFD, HMI, Servo, Control Networks, Motion Control, contactors, circuit breakers, MMS, and other industrial automation applications is a plus.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent customer service and phone communication skills.
• Professional, patient, positive, and confident communication style.
• Strong organizational skills for managing documents, demos, work area, and time.
