Job description

Position: Full-time
Greek Lady Foods is looking for an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Manager to oversee our busy food-production kitchen. The successful candidate will manage the kitchen team, coordinate daily production and ensure that every product is prepared safely, consistently and on time.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and manage daily and weekly food production.
• Allocate duties and supervise cooks, bakers, kitchen assistants and packers.
• Manage staff attendance, performance, productivity and training.
• Ensure all products follow approved recipes, portion sizes and quality standards.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene, allergen control and HACCP procedures.
• Complete temperature, cleaning, production and traceability records.
• Manage stock levels, receiving, stock rotation and regular stocktakes.
• Control food costs, wastage, overproduction and incorrect portions.
• Oversee packing, labelling, storage and dispatch of finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe production kitchen.
• Report equipment faults, production problems and quality concerns promptly.
• Assist practically in the kitchen when required.

Requirements
• At least three years’ experience in a senior kitchen, production-supervision or kitchen-management position.
• Experience in food manufacturing, high-volume catering or a production kitchen is preferred.
• Strong staff-management and organisational skills.
• Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP, stock control and recipe production.
• Able to work accurately under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Basic computer and administrative skills.
• Willing to work early mornings, weekends or public holidays when required.
