Lead CNC Machinist/Programmer (4/10hr Days)

Fulton Technology Corp is seeking an experienced Lead CNC Machinist to take ownership of our shop floor. This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently program, set up and run 3- and 4-axis CNC vertical machining centers and lathes, and who is ready to lead others. The Lead Machinist may oversee machinists and machine operators: assigning jobs, troubleshooting setups, training newer team members, and making sure every part meets spec. Candidates must be fully self-sufficient and reliable, and able to ensure the quality of both their own work and their team's without supervision.
Pay: $30–$40+ per hour, depending on performance

Key Responsibilities:Program, set up, operate, and inspect CNC mills and lathes to produce tight tolerance partsRead and interpret detailed technical drawings and blueprintsEnsure high-quality production by using measurement and inspection tools effectivelyStreamline processes to improve productivity and maintain accuracyHandle materials with a strong understanding of their properties and characteristics
Requirements:3+ years of experience in a high-precision machining environmentProficiency in CAM programming, setup, and operation of CNC Vertical Mills and LathesStrong familiarity with Fanuc controls (highly preferred)Knowledge of shop math and material propertiesSkilled in using inspection toolsSolid problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently with minimal oversightExcellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)Occasional Fridays may be required
