Job description
Tasks
- Analyze existing data applications and frameworks.
- Resolve technical challenges during data platform migration.
- Optimize Spark workloads for performance and scalability.
- Modernize existing data solutions using Databricks.
- Support batch and streaming data processing.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed data platforms.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Apache Spark / PySpark
- Hands-on experience with Databricks
- Python programming
- Spark performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Batch and streaming data processing
- Data platform migration and modernization
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good to Have: Scala; Spark Connect / Databricks Connect; MLflow and ML pipelines; Machine learning platforms; Framework or platform engineering; Distributed systems experience
