Lead Software Engineer

About the role

Build reliable, event-driven services.

Tasks

• Develop scalable notification services using Scala and Akka.
• Design and troubleshoot microservices and complex application components.
• Deliver reliable AWS solutions through CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers, improve code quality, and guide technical documentation.
• Coordinate integration and acceptance testing with technical and business teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or master's degree with 8+ years.
• 5+ years developing software with Java 8+.
• 3+ years of Scala and 2+ years of Akka, including Streams, Actors, HTTP or Persistence.
• AWS, microservices, CI/CD and strong computer-science fundamentals.
• Experience with high availability, Agile delivery, relational/NoSQL databases and technical leadership.
• Spring Boot APIs, functional programming, ZIO and reactive streaming are a plus.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, first shift
• W-2 Contract
• Estimated duration: 12 months
• Hybrid
