Lead Software Engineer

Tasks

• Lead the design and development of REST APIs and microservices.
• Define software architecture, coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Build scalable, secure, high-throughput systems using .NET and Azure services.
• Drive code reviews, mentoring, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
• Design event-driven solutions using Azure Service Bus and Event Hubs.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Lead technical design decisions, documentation, prototyping, and system improvements.
• Support an AI-driven SDLC using AI coding assistants and agentic development tools.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and compliance with financial services standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in technical leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and SQL.
• Azure services: APIM, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault.
• RESTful APIs, OAuth2, and OpenAPI specifications.
• Microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Azure Service Bus and Event Hubs.
• Container technologies and cloud-native frameworks.
• Observability tools such as Datadog and Grafana.
• Git, DevOps, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.
