Mainframe Developer and Analyst

We are seeking a talented Mainframe Developer and Analyst to join our team in West Mifflin, PA. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain COBOL applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Analyse existing mainframe systems and applications to identify enhancements and improvements. Work with DB2 databases to manage data storage, retrieval, and manipulation effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that align with project objectives. Participate in project planning and execution, providing technical expertise to guide the development process. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality deliverables. Prepare comprehensive documentation and provide technical support to users and stakeholders. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proficiency in COBOL and DB2. Experience with mainframe development and systems analysis. Familiarity with industry-standard certifications in mainframe technologies is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a mainframe development role is preferred.
