Maintenance Technician II (CNC) 2nd shift

About the role

FN America, LLC is a U.S. subsidiary of FN Herstal, S.A., a global leader in the development and manufacturing of firearms. The Maintenance Technician II installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production and facility equipment to support FN America’s business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
• Provide emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair production machines, diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make adjustments.
• Use mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, hydraulic, Programmable Logic Controllers (Ps), and Ladder Logic skills.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, electrical drawings, and work orders.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Support continuous improvement, lean processes, 5S, and value stream management initiatives, and suggest improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
