Job description
About the role
Aerospace and advanced-materials manufacturer.
Tasks
- Solve production challenges and build better processes.
- Design the fixture.
- Improve the process.
- Help select the equipment.
- Build the prototype.
- Validate the results.
- Work with precision-machined components or high-temperature composites.
- Take projects from concept through production.
Requirements
- Background could be in precision machining, automotive components, aerospace suppliers, thermoset or rubber molding, or composites.
- Connect engineering knowledge with hands-on execution.
- CAD/GD&T, fixture or tooling experience, process troubleshooting, and data-driven problem-solving.
- Shop-floor experience.
