The company is based in Deerfield Beach, FL and offers more information Description This is a full-time, on-site Mortgage Loan Officer role located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Mortgage Loan Officer will actively generate and manage leads, consult with prospective borrowers, and guide them through the full loan process from initial inquiry to closing. Daily responsibilities include assessing borrower financial profiles, recommending appropriate mortgage products, collecting and reviewing documentation, and coordinating with underwriting and processing teams. The role involves maintaining regular communication with clients, real estate agents, and other partners to ensure timely updates and a positive lending experience. The Mortgage Loan Officer will also stay current on lending guidelines, market trends, and company policies to provide accurate, compliant advice.Qualifications Experience functioning as a Loan Officer, with a track record of originating and managing residential mortgage loans.Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry, including current regulations, loan products, and market trends.Hands-on experience in Mortgage Lending processes, from application through funding and closing.Understanding of Underwriting principles and documentation requirements to facilitate accurate, complete files.Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and manage client expectations.State-specific mortgage loan originator (MLO) license or ability to obtain required licensing in Florida.Proficiency with loan origination software, CRM tools, and standard office applications.Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and deadlines.Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and work on-site in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in residential lending, banking, or financial services; bilingual skills are a plus.
