This role is suited to aspiring IT and network security professionals, including candidates with mechanical, civil, or technical diploma backgrounds who want to combine engineering skills with an IT career.
What You’ll Do
- Work with IT consultants to design and support IT infrastructure, applying AutoCAD skills where needed.
- Handle installation work and provide support at customer sites.
- Complete a 90-day certification challenge in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build hands-on experience through training and certifications with OEM partners, including Palo Alto, Trend Micro, Sophos, Thales, SonicWall, PureID, CrowdStrike, Forcepoint, Zscaler, and Proofpoint.
- Gain exposure to vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT), application security, compliance, and audits.
- Develop practical knowledge across network, web, email, endpoint, and server security, as well as CAS, CASB, and SASE.
What We’re Looking For
- Interest in or ability to learn AutoCAD; experience is a strong advantage, particularly for mechanical, civil, and technical diploma candidates.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A fast-learning mindset and analytical, logical thinking.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and demonstrate proof-of-concept projects using real-world use cases.
- Organization and the ability to set weekly, monthly, and quarterly learning goals.
- CCNA certification is preferred.
