A rapidly expanding medical imaging service organization is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Field Service Engineer to support healthcare providers across the New England region.This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organization specializing in advanced diagnostic imaging technologies, offering ongoing OEM training, excellent technical support, and genuine long-term career progression.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing Nuclear Medicine imaging systems, with a primary focus on SPECT and related molecular imaging equipment. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working independently, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and installations on Nuclear Medicine and SPECT imaging systems.Support system upgrades, installations, and equipment commissioning.Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software-related faults to maximise system uptime.Provide outstanding technical support while building strong relationships with healthcare customers.Manage your assigned territory, service schedule, parts inventory, and service documentation.Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
Experience servicing Nuclear Medicine, SPECT, PET, CT, or other diagnostic imaging systems.Previous OEM or third-party medical imaging service experience preferred.Strong electrical, electronic, and electromechanical troubleshooting skills.Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical service documentation.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.Willingness to travel throughout the New England territory.Valid driver's license.
