Nurse or IV Administrator Job in Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica

Tamarindo Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse or IV Administrator to join our healthcare team in the beautiful coastal town of Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional nursing care and intravenous therapy in a modern, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous therapies with attention to patient comfort and monitor patient progress closely.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Communicate bilingually in English and Spanish to ensure clear understanding for all patients.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records documenting care and patient responses.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
• Participate in patient health education to support treatment adherence and wellness.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
• Current nursing license in Costa Rica or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience in intravenous administration and nursing practices preferred.
• Familiarity with medical software and patient care systems.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred.
