Part-Time Event Coordinator

YAM is looking for a friendly, dependable Part-Time Event Coordinator to help bring weddings, parties, corporate events, concerts, and community gatherings to life in our East Dallas venue.

This is an as-needed position with most shifts taking place evenings and weekends (especially Saturdays).

Event days can occasionally run until midnight, so flexibility is important.

What You'll Do
* Prepare the venue before events
* Welcome and assist clients and vendors
* Oversee events as YAM's on-site representative
* Provide basic AV support (experience and comfort here is a definite plus!)
* Oversee cleanup and resetting the space after each event
* Follow opening and closing procedures

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
* Friendly, professional, and super reliable
* Comfortable working with people and providing outstanding customer service
* Organized, adaptable, and able to think on their feet
* Comfortable using a smartphone and basic computer programs
* Able to lift and move tables, chairs, and event equipment
* Available to work evenings and weekends (this one is non negotiable.)

Previous experience in hospitality, events, restaurants, hotels, retail, or customer service is a plus—but a positive attitude and a genuine hospitality mindset matter even more.

This role also offers room to grow into Event Management, with future opportunities to help schedule events, meet with clients, coordinate vendors, and manage venue operations.
