About the role
Golden Grange Kennels is looking for motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals to join the team as part-time kennel assistants. Previous animal experience is preferred but not required. Help is especially needed during weekends and evenings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized kennel area.
- Feed and care for the dogs and monitor their status.
- Interact with the dogs in a positive manner.
- Assist with check-ins for boarding and grooming.
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments.
Requirements
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Be available to work holidays and weekends as needed.
- Be comfortable moving around or standing for extended periods, and occasionally doing some heavy lifting.
- Be able to work comfortably and positively in a team environment.
- Be passionate about and caring for the animals.
