PCIS Engineer

About the role

Support electrical, instrumentation, and control systems within an industrial process plant environment.

Tasks

• Troubleshoot power, electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues; repair or replace electrical components as needed.
• Develop engineering designs and documentation packages for power and instrumentation installations in industrial process plants.
• Implement approved equipment changes, system upgrades, and process optimizations.
• Take ownership of assigned equipment and technology areas and support equipment reliability and breakdown elimination.
• Specify, select, configure, and verify calibration of process instrumentation.
• Engineering design, vendor coordination, startup support, and continuous improvement of process and packaging systems.

Requirements

• Experience developing instrumentation and control engineering design packages for industrial process plants.
• Knowledge of process instrumentation specification, selection, setup, calibration verification, and adjustment.
• Experience with Fisher valves, Micro Motion flowmeters, Rosemount transmitters, and Endress+Hauser (E+H) instrumentation.
• Knowledge of Rockwell control and communication systems, Allen-Bradley #PLCs, #VFDs, and #SCADA systems.
• Proficiency in engineering documentation, including instrument datasheets, I/O lists, instrument lists, and wiring diagrams.
