Physical Therapist – Outpatient Clinic in Apollo Beach, FL

Perla Cruz is hiring a patient-focused Physical Therapist for its growing outpatient team in Apollo Beach, Florida. Evaluate patients, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based care to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. This on-site position offers a four-day workweek and collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, balance and gait training, transfer and activities of daily living (ADL) training, and return-to-work or return-to-sport programs.
• Monitor patient progress, reassess outcomes, and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate care to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), technicians, and athletic trainers.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA, regulatory, infection control, safety, and clinic requirements.
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and in-service training.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete additional duties that support clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist license required. Candidates licensed in another state who are eligible to transfer their license to Florida may be considered; license transfer assistance can be negotiated as part of the offer.
• Current CPR/AED certification required.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay: $90000 per year.
• Schedule: Four-day workweek.
• Location: On-site outpatient clinic in Apollo Beach, Florida.
