PLC Programmer/Controls Programmer

Tasks

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and motion control programs.
• Configure and troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, industrial networks, and safety systems.
• Maintain controls documentation, I/O lists, and software revision records.
• Support machine startup, FAT, SAT, and onsite commissioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve controls-related issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of industrial controls programming experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• HMI development and operator interface design.
• Machine automation, motion control, and safety systems.
• Industrial communication protocols – Ethernet/IP and Profinet.
• Experience working in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environment.
• Preferred: Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation – ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View.
• Preferred: Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and WinCC.
• Preferred: Servo motion control, VFDs, and machine safety systems.
• Preferred: Plastics extrusion or converting equipment experience.
• Preferred: FAT, SAT, machine startup, and customer-site commissioning.
• Visa: Any Visa
• Work Authorization: No GC / USC
