We are hiring a full-time Pool Maintenance & Construction Specialist in Lantana, Florida. This hands-on supervisory role oversees and performs pool construction, maintenance, and repair work while ensuring safe, high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Inspect pools and test water quality, including pH, chlorine, disinfectants, and oxidizers.
- Repair or replace filtration systems, chlorination equipment, pumps, heaters, and electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Clean pools, apply water treatments, and use algaecide as needed.
- Install pool equipment in accordance with applicable safety standards.
- Follow Florida Department of Health regulations for pools and spas.
- Diagnose and resolve leaks, equipment malfunctions, and system failures.
- Maintain service records, water test logs, and equipment reports.
- Show clients how to maintain their pools and follow safety practices.
- Supervise staff during on-site maintenance and repair projects.
- Use the ION app to register pools and update pool status reports.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pool systems experience relevant to construction, maintenance, and repair responsibilities.
- Ability to perform inspections, water testing, equipment repairs, and service documentation.
- Ability to supervise on-site work and communicate maintenance and safety guidance to clients.
