About the Role
Valiant Tek is seeking an experienced Power Apps Programmer in Phoenix, AZ, to design, develop, and support scalable low-code business applications. You will work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into effective Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and model-driven apps), Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Design and build low-code business applications using Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and SQL data sources.
- Develop Power Automate flows for automation, approvals, reminders, scheduled tasks, and REST API integrations.
- Integrate on-premises data sources, including SQL Server and file systems, using the On-Premises Data Gateway.
- Develop custom connectors to securely consume REST and SOAP APIs using OAuth 2.0 or API key authentication.
- Apply Power Platform governance practices, including environment setup, DLP policies, security groups, and audit controls.
- Use ALM practices such as solution packaging, Dev/Test/Prod environments, pipelines, and environment variables.
- Extend apps with Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) and JavaScript or TypeScript as needed.
- Implement role-based security, Dataverse table permissions, and Azure AD group integrations.
- Migrate legacy business processes to Power Platform apps to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Document solutions, communicate effectively, and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Copilot Studio and citizen developer enablement.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
