About the role
Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer in Software Development to develop, deploy, and maintain automated test software for low-volume, high-mix production environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain automated test software using C#, C, Python, SQL, and related tools, following established scalable ATE architecture standards.
- Develop and maintain database solutions that follow the schema, structure, and standards of the established larger-scale database.
- Ensure consistency across queries, stored procedures, data interfaces, and reporting outputs.
- Interface with production test equipment, including environmental chambers and power supplies.
