About the role
RAIS USA is seeking a hands-on technology leader to join its Asset Management – Investment Technology team. The role combines engineering craft with leadership accountability: you will contribute to code and architecture while leading a distributed team and shaping technology direction for core investment platforms.
The work focuses on modernising and supporting investment platforms through scalable cloud-native architecture, full stack delivery and robust engineering practices. You will engage with global stakeholders across Investments, Operations, Product and Technology to deliver solutions for Portfolio Management and Trading. Exposure to ETFs and multi-asset platforms is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive technology strategy aligned with Investments business goals, identifying value-creation opportunities through cloud-native architecture, data enablement and full-stack engineering.
- Lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives that transform investment technology, with structured execution and measurable outcomes.
- Lead and contribute directly to full stack application development across cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
- Design and implement scalable, secure APIs with strong monitoring and logging frameworks.
- Lead development of rich UI components using frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Manage AWS-based infrastructure components and CI/CD pipelines, including CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, S3 and RDS.
