Tembisa hospital is seeking a dedicated Professional Nurse to join our healthcare team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital setting, positively impacting patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing individual needs and developing personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians accurately and safely.
• Monitor patient progress closely and document any changes in condition.
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and post-discharge instructions.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Manage patient admissions and discharge processes ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for patients and staff.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Certification is mandatory.
• Strong skills in patient care assessment and nursing interventions.
• Experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with medical software and nursing tools is advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse is a plus.

As a Professional Nurse at Tembisa hospital, you will work closely with doctors, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff, reporting directly to the Nurse Manager. Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care and service delivery is essential.
