Job description
Company is hiring a detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst for a contract position in Winchester, Kentucky. Join our laboratory team to ensure product quality and safety through precise analytical testing and adherence to industry standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct analytical testing to verify product compliance with USP, NF, EP, JP, FCC, or customer guidelines. Perform high-quality tests such as Dissolution, Titration, Polarimetry, Loss on Drying, Viscosity, Residue on Ignition, Heavy Metal Content, FTIR, HPLC, and GC. Maintain accurate records of test results and laboratory procedures for traceability. Inspect laboratory equipment regularly to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Contribute to the development and improvement of quality control protocols. Assist in training new staff on lab safety and testing procedures. Monitor quality metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences. Experience with analytical testing and laboratory safety protocols. Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail. Familiarity with laboratory software and data management systems. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
