Job description
Arijita Ghosh is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position on the Med-Surg / ICU team in Orlando, Florida. Help deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment and support patients through recovery and critical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for patients in Med-Surg and ICU units.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments while following safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and changes in condition.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Support the supervision and training of nursing students and new staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and safety.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- One to three years of nursing experience in a Med-Surg or ICU setting.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
