School Psychologist Job in San Bernardino, CA

Every Special Child is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time, on-site position in San Bernardino, California, for the 2026–27 school year. In this role, you will support students’ psychological well-being and academic success by providing assessments, counseling, crisis support, and evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Provide individual and group counseling for students experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and other concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Lead workshops and training for school staff and parents on mental health and strategies for supporting students.
• Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate assessment and outcome records.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies or critical incidents.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive student support.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Experience in an educational setting preferred.
• Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with software and tools used in school psychology practice.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-focused environment.
• School Psychologist licensure or certification may be required; confirm applicable requirements for this position.
