School Psychologist Job in San Bernardino, CA for SY 2026-27

Every Special Child is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in San Bernardino, California for the 2026-27 school year. This full-time position involves providing essential psychological support to students to foster a positive learning environment and enhance their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop tailored interventions.
• Provide individual and group counseling addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on mental health awareness and effective student support strategies.
• Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate records of assessments and outcomes.
• Engage in crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies or critical incidents.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a holistic approach to student support.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology (required).
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and school staff.
• Experience in an educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with software and tools used in school psychology practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
• Licensure or certification as a School Psychologist is a plus.

Compensation: $70,000 per hour
