What You Will Do

Own key components of the monthly close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely financial reportingAssist with SEC reporting, including financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules, and quarterly and annual reporting requirementsSupport revenue recognition by reviewing contracts, evaluating accounting implications, and ensuring appropriate revenue treatment under U.S. GAAPPartner with Finance, FP&A, Content, Engineering, and other teams to investigate budget-to-actual variances and connect financial results to underlying business activityAnalyze complex transactions and translate them into appropriate accounting treatment, documentation, and financial reportingHelp strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance within a rapidly evolving business environmentEvaluate accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracyBring a thoughtful, solutions-oriented perspective to accounting challenges and special projects

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required and active CPA or CPA in process5–7 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in U.S. GAAPPublic company accounting or SEC reporting experience is a plus, but strong candidates ready to step into a public company environment are encouraged to applyStrong technical accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-finance partnersA naturally curious mindset and genuine interest in understanding how the business operates beyond the numbersA proactive, collaborative approach and desire to continuously improve processes
