Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering teamand help shape the future of AI-assisted software development. This role is ideal foran experienced engineer who leverages AI-powered development tools such as Kiro, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and similar IDE-integrated LLMs to build,review, and refine production-grade software. Rather than focusing solely on manual coding, this role emphasizes prompt-driven development, software architecture, code quality, security, and engineering bestpractices. You will work closely with senior engineers, product owners, and engineeringleadership to accelerate software delivery while ensuring the reliability, maintainability,and scalability of AI-generated code.This is an opportunity to help define how AI is integrated into modern softwareengineering workflows while maintaining the highest standards of softwarecraftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities AI-Assisted Software Development• Design and develop software solutions using AI-assisted development toolssuch as Kiro, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and other LLM-powered IDEs.• Translate business and technical requirements into structured prompts thatgenerate reliable, maintainable, and testable code.• Continuously refine and improve AI-generated code for correctness, readability,and performance.Code Review & Engineering Excellence• Review both AI-generated and manually written code with a focus on:o Software architectureo Security best practiceso Performance optimizationo Scalabilityo Maintainability• Identify hallucinations, logical inconsistencies, security risks, andimplementation gaps introduced by AI-generated code.• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, coding guidelines, and bestpractices.Architecture & System Design• Collaborate with engineering teams on designing scalable and maintainablesoftware architectures.• Break down complex systems into modular, AI-friendly components.• Guide AI tools toward clean abstractions, reusable patterns, and well-structuredimplementations.• Document architectural decisions and technical designs for both engineers andAI-assisted workflows.Testing & Validation• Develop and validate comprehensive unit, integration, and regression testingstrategies.• Utilize AI tools to accelerate test generation while ensuring test quality andreliability.• Own the final validation process before production deployment.Technical Leadership• Partner with engineering leadership to establish standards and best practices forAI-assisted software development.• Define prompt engineering guidelines, review workflows, and governance for AIgenerated code.• Mentor engineers adopting AI-powered development practices and promoteengineering excellence across teams.
Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a relatedtechnical discipline.• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining production-gradebackend systems, APIs, and distributed services.• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as:o Kiroo Cursoro GitHub Copiloto ChatGPTo Claudeo Similar AI-powered development environments• Demonstrated ability to understand, debug, and improve code written by othersor generated through AI.• Strong understanding of:o Software architecture and design patternso Secure coding principleso Testing methodologieso CI/CD pipelineso Code review best practices• Experience working within Agile software development teams.Preferred Qualifications• Experience driving engineering standards and software development bestpractices.• Strong architectural thinking and system design capabilities.• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives.• Passion for AI-assisted software engineering and modern developer productivitytools.• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
