About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience building and scaling data infrastructure to join our high-performing engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and managing high-scale data infrastructure and building the data pipelines that feed ML or analytics use cases (such as feature pipelines and model data prep).
(Note: Modeling-only, MLOps, or LLM-infra backgrounds do not qualify for this specific role.)
What You’ll Do
Own Ingestion Pipelines: Build and own end-to-end ingestion pipelines for large-scale, messy, multi-source data—handling connectors, deduplication, schema changes, and reruns.
Power ML & Analytics: Design and deliver the foundational pipelines that feed critical machine learning and analytics workflows.
Scale Infrastructure: Design, scale, and manage high-scale data infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Background: 3+ years of experience building and scaling data infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have professional experience at a VC-backed startup, a reputable company with a high talent bar (e.g., Meta, Netflix), or a company specialized in data management (e.g., Databricks, Confluent).
Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with data orchestration and transformation tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, dbt, SQLMesh) and advanced SQL skills.
Nice-to-Haves
Degree from a top-20 CS program.
Experience building infrastructure for AI/ML applications, such as retrieval APIs.
