Senior Developer – D365/Power Platform/Azure

About the role

Build, modernize, release, and support STAAND – Stronger Together Against Abuse and Neglect in DC, the District’s federally certified Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS).

Hands-on technical leadership role.

Tasks

• Write complex code, own CI/CD and Power Platform ALM, lead code reviews, manage production support, and work directly with business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years progressive software development experience
• 6+ years hands-on Dynamics 365 CE / Dataverse / Power Platform
• 5+ years C#/.NET plug-in and custom API development
• 4+ years TypeScript / JavaScript client extensions and PCF controls
• 4+ years technical leadership managing a team of at least 3 developers
• 4+ years Azure DevOps YAML pipeline development and ownership
• 4+ years Power Platform ALM and managed solution deployments
• 4+ years pull request reviews and protected-branch merge authority
• 4+ years production support ownership with severity tiers and SLAs
• 4+ years Azure development – Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Key Vault
• 3+ years automated unit, integration, and UI regression testing
• 3+ years Power Pages / Portal development
• 3+ years secure development and code-level security reviews
• Government Cloud – GCC / GCC High / Azure Government
• Generative AI – Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry
• Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse and Data Factory
• Infrastructure as Code – Bicep, ARM or Terraform
• Government / Child Welfare / CCWIS project experience
