Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Product)

About the role

Client is expanding its AI platform to new missions, datasets, and sensitive government operating environments.

You’ll join a brand-new 2–3 person team reporting directly to the Director.

This role is a unique hybrid of product engineering and forward-deployed engineering (SWE + FDE).

Tasks

• Build full-stack features across React, Postgres, Redis, and S3.
• Work directly with users on-site to translate critical mission needs into technical product requirements.
• Deploy and integrate directly with government IT systems (data platforms, IdAM, SIEM, cross-domain solutions).
• Own features completely from initial concept to production in the field.

Requirements

• 4–10 years of experience as a full-stack or product engineer.
• Hands-on experience deploying software into customer or secure environments.
• Strong familiarity with relational databases (Postgres), caching (Redis), object storage (S3), and modern front-end frameworks (React).
• Experience with DoD RMF (Risk Management Framework) preferred.
• Balanced 50/50 front-end and back-end development experience (or front-end heavy) preferred.
• Experience working with LLM agents preferred.
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating directly with customers is expected.

Schedule

• 40–50% travel to DC & Tampa
• Full-time

Pay

• Annual Pay: $170K - $220K
