Job description
Join NYTP as a Senior Hardware Architect in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to lead advanced hardware design and development projects in a fast-paced, innovative engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Design and implement advanced hardware architecture solutions to meet project specifications and performance goals. Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations for proposed hardware designs. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware solutions effectively and efficiently. Perform root cause analysis for hardware failures and drive design improvements. Participate in peer reviews and mentor junior engineers to enhance team expertise. Create detailed design documentation and present technical findings to stakeholders. Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to apply best practices. Required and Preferred Qualifications Master of Science in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent. Proficiency in HDLC (High-Level Data Link Control). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in hardware architecture. Experience with hardware simulation tools and methodologies. Familiarity with certifications such as PMP or Six Sigma is a plus. Competence in Altium Designer, Cadence, MATLAB, or similar software tools.
