Job description
NYTP is hiring a Senior Hardware Architect for an on-site contract position in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Help shape hardware design and development for innovative engineering projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement hardware architecture solutions that meet project specifications and performance goals.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate hardware design performance.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware solutions.
- Analyze hardware failures, identify root causes, and drive design improvements.
- Participate in peer reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Prepare design documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and apply relevant technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent program.
- Proficiency in HDLC (High-Level Data Link Control).
- Five or more years of relevant hardware architecture experience is ideal.
- Experience with hardware simulation tools and methodologies.
- Competence with tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, and MATLAB.
- PMP or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
