Hardware Test Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Hardware Test Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Key Responsibilities Conduct white box testing to validate hardware functionality and robustness. Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for hardware components. Collaborate with design and development teams to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on findings, issues, and recommendations. Support the debugging process by providing technical insights and collaborating on solutions. Maintain documentation of testing procedures, results, and any changes to test processes. Participate in regular team meetings and communicate testing progress and challenges effectively. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited university. Proficient in white box testing methodologies. Experience with hardware testing tools and techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 2+ years of experience in hardware testing or related fields preferred. In this role, you will be an integral part of a small, agile team focused on delivering high-quality hardware solutions. You will report directly to the Lead Hardware Engineer and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers and quality assurance specialists, to ensure the integration of hardware and software components.
