Senior Qualys Engineer

Tasks

• Administer and maintain the Qualys platform, scanners, agents, and scan schedules.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and analyze scan results.
• Prioritize security risks and coordinate remediation with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams.
• Develop security dashboards, reports, and compliance metrics.
• Automate vulnerability management using APIs and scripting.
• Support security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Qualys VMDR
• Vulnerability Management and Security Operations
• Qualys Policy Compliance, Patch Management, and Asset Inventory
• Vulnerability assessment, CVSS scoring, and risk prioritization
• Security frameworks: NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001
• Windows, Linux, AWS, Azure, and GCP security
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and Active Directory
• Scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• 5–7 years of experience in Vulnerability Management and Security Operations.
• Strong practical experience with Qualys VMDR.
• Must be local to Malvern, PA, or Dallas, TX, and available for an in-person interview.
