Role Description This full-time, on-site Server role is based at Saint Charles Yacht Club in the Cape Coral Metropolitan Area. The Server will greet members and guests, present menus, take food and beverage orders, and deliver items promptly and accurately. Daily responsibilities include setting up and breaking down dining areas, ensuring tables and service stations are clean and stocked, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to provide smooth, timely service. The Server will process payments, follow club service standards, comply with health and safety regulations, and support special events such as banquets and private functions. This role requires professionalism, a friendly demeanor, and consistent attention to detail in a member-focused environment.
Qualifications

Prior experience as a server or in food and beverage service in restaurants, clubs, resorts, or similar hospitality settings.Strong customer service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a courteous, professional approach to members and guests.Ability to handle multiple tables, manage orders, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.Knowledge of basic food and beverage service standards, including menu familiarity, proper serving etiquette, and responsible alcohol service.Reliable time management, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to assist colleagues and adapt to changing needs.Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry trays or supplies, and follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by club operations and events.High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal hospitality training or certifications (e.g., food handler, alcohol service) are a plus.
