Software Engineer

About the role

Finpilot is an AI-native fintech startup building intelligent software for institutional investment teams.

Tasks

• Build LLM-powered systems for processing financial and fund documents.
• Develop AI agents to automate analyst workflows.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications.
• Own projects end-to-end, from development to deployment.
• Collaborate directly with clients to deliver AI-powered solutions.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to build and ship quality software.

Requirements

• 0–7 years of software engineering experience; exceptional early-career candidates welcome.
• Strong backend development and programming fundamentals.
• Demonstrated engineering ability through projects, internships, or professional experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Genuine interest in early-stage startups.
• Python | React | TypeScript | AWS | PostgreSQL | MongoDB | AI/LLM Applications
• Candidates with experience at selective technology companies, AI labs, quantitative firms, strong CS/math/physics programs, or successful startups may be a good fit.

Schedule

• On-site, 5 days/week
• Full-time
• Occasional late nights or weekends.

Pay

• $130K–$170K
