Job description
EQUESTEVER LLC is hiring a Software Engineer – Java in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. This on-site contract (C2C) opportunity is for a software engineer experienced in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and Kubernetes. You will help build and maintain innovative applications alongside a collaborative technology team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Build RESTful APIs that support reliable data exchange between services and applications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and develop solutions for customer needs.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to support quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and usability.
- Monitor and manage containerized applications in a Kubernetes environment.
- Document code, processes, and technical specifications.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Software development experience focused on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Hands-on knowledge of REST APIs and Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
